A calendar slot is only one part of a successful booking
Verify the path from the website invitation through the supported booking confirmation. A click to a calendar is not proof that a meeting was booked.
An end-to-end booking test includes the landing path, availability, submission, confirmation, routing and the record the team uses to follow up. A calendar widget loading successfully does not verify the entire journey.
A worked example
A hypothetical test appointment appears on the website but uses the wrong time zone and never reaches the responsible teammate. Analytics may record a completion while the operational booking remains unusable.
How to apply it
- Use a clearly labeled test with permission for any real notification recipients.
- Verify date, time zone, attendee details, confirmation and owner routing.
- Check cancellation and rescheduling behavior without counting them as new unique inquiries.
What the result can establish
Remove or clearly retain test records according to the agreed process. Distinguish booking creation, attendance and qualification in reporting. A scheduled meeting is not evidence that the prospect attended or became a customer.
