A landing-page review should end with a checkable task
Review discovery, behavior and verified inquiry actions together for the pages that matter. High visits can conceal a confusing page while a lower-traffic specialist page produces relevant requests.
Monthly evidence is most useful when it identifies a specific audience, page and friction point. Broad instructions to improve conversion are hard to implement or evaluate. Link each recommendation to an observable journey and an owner.
A worked example
A hypothetical service page attracts relevant searches but its booking handoff loses the selected service context. The task is to preserve that context and verify routing, not to redesign the whole site because one aggregate rate declined.
How to apply it
- Choose pages with relevant traffic and a clear intended next step.
- Inspect the journey and source evidence before explaining the outcome.
- Assign a bounded change with a completion test and a later KPI review.
What the result can establish
Separate task completion from performance impact. A successful technical test verifies the repair; later inquiry evidence evaluates its business effect. Record other campaign or audience changes that complicate attribution.
