Improve reliable capture before optimizing the summary number
Improve genuine capture performance and source reliability rather than generating artificial records. A score should reflect useful evidence against the business's supported KPI targets.
A Lead Capture score should be interpreted through the category’s supported evidence and KPI rubric. More events do not necessarily mean more usable inbound demand. Source reliability, duplicate handling and the inquiry journey deserve review.
A worked example
A hypothetical team connects a missing calendar source and the supported evidence increases. That improves coverage, but it does not prove all newly visible bookings were newly generated by the latest campaign. A later review must distinguish observation from performance.
How to apply it
- Inspect the current rubric, supported source coverage and target context.
- Repair verified intake or routing failures and validate with labeled tests.
- Review unique usable inquiries without substituting unrelated score values.
What the result can establish
SharkBlade’s Lead Capture page and Intelligence view should show the same current category assessment. Optional execution should address the actual gap. Keep pipeline and revenue conclusions separate unless supported by verified downstream records.
