Select one coverage gap and one distribution experiment
Choose one theme, format or destination improvement based on the current evidence. A vague instruction to improve engagement gives the team no bounded experiment to perform.
A monthly social plan can connect useful content with a manageable test. Avoid changing every format, subject and CTA at once: the team then cannot explain which change produced a relevant response.
A worked example
A hypothetical review finds that technical posts receive useful buyer questions but offer no deeper resource. The next month adds a supporting guide and tests its link placement while preserving the core topic. This creates a bounded learning question.
How to apply it
- Identify a buyer question that existing posts do not answer well.
- Assign an expert, review owner and appropriate destination.
- Record the distribution change and the measures that will inform the next decision.
What the result can establish
Compare observations with audience and format context. Completed posts are delivery evidence; useful discussion and inquiries are different outcomes. Keep attribution limits and small sample uncertainty in the monthly interpretation.
